These are opportunities to join exceptional firms where the Partners are held in high regard across Australia and internationally for their expertise.

Whilst each of the opportunities varies in terms of team size and structure, each group acts for major mining and resources companies, tier-one infrastructure companies, major ASX-listeds, and multinationals, and completes complex B&F work for borrowers (major corporations and mid-cap companies) as well as both domestic and international financiers.

About the roles:

With multiple opportunities available, we are seeking lawyers at the SA, Associate, and Junior Lawyer levels, to provide advice on a full range of corporate, major projects, resources, property, and structured finance transactions to leading organisations, including:

• Corporate, acquisition, and transaction financing

• Major project development and property financing

• Commodity-based financing transactions 

• Complex and structured bilateral, club and syndicated financing arrangements

• Restructuring, advising on, and turn-around of existing financing arrangements

Attracting some of the most complex B&F work in the Australian legal market, these opportunities will suit lawyers looking to make their next career move and advise a broad spectrum of high-quality clients, within high-performing teams. 

Who we are looking for:

We are interested in speaking with B&F Lawyers with 2-15+ years’ PAE, either with prior experience in B&F or an interest in learning this area of law – ideally from leading national or international firms. The successful candidates will be motivated lawyers with strong technical knowledge and a dedication to delivering exceptional client service.  

We are also interested in speaking with lawyers with experience is other relevant practice areas and seeking to move into Banking & Finance.  

You will be confident in your ability to liaise directly with clients and deliver high-quality work, leading files with some autonomy and support from the wider team as required.
