This global law firm is recognised as a market leader in the Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure sector, with an extensive track record advising on major transactions and projects across Australia and internationally. As the team continues to expand, a new opportunity has arisen for an experienced mid to senior level lawyer to join the Perth office.
Working alongside leading Partners and senior lawyers, you will provide clients with a totally integrated service on all aspects of their infrastructure projects advising on project development, and agreements, and project finance transactions across the energy and infrastructure sectors along with exposure to M&A. This includes market-leading work in renewable energy, critical minerals, hydrogen, biofuels, CCUS and other green fuels, with a strong focus on supporting the global energy transition.
You will play a key role in managing client matters, supporting ongoing growth and contributing to the continued success of this highly regarded national and international practice.
Responsibilities include:
Advising on project development and major transactions across energy, resources and infrastructure.
Drafting and negotiating complex project agreements, joint venture arrangements, liquid natural gas sales and commercial contracts.
Advising on regulatory compliance and risk management.
Managing client relationships
Collaborating with legal teams across national and international offices.
Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers within the team.
We would like to speak to lawyers with 4–8 years’ PAE with experience in energy and resources, infrastructure, and project finance. You will have a solid technical skillset, the ability to manage matters with autonomy and strong academics.
