Senior Associate - 4-8 Years’ PAE – Energy & Resources/Projects

This global law firm is recognised as a market leader in the Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure sector, with an extensive track record advising on major transactions and projects across Australia and internationally.

As the team continues to expand, a new opportunity has arisen for an experienced mid to senior level lawyer to join the Perth office and complete market-leading work in renewable energy, critical minerals, hydrogen, biofuels, CCUS and other green fuels, with a strong focus on supporting the global energy transition.

Working alongside leading Partners and senior lawyers of this high performing and collaborative team, you will be managing client matters, providing clients with a totally integrated service on all aspects of their infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Advising on project development and major transactions across energy, resources and infrastructure.

  • Drafting and negotiating complex project agreements, joint venture arrangements, liquid natural gas sales and commercial contracts.

  • Advising on regulatory compliance and risk management.

  • Managing client relationships

  • Collaborating with legal teams across national and international offices.

  • Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers within the team.

We would like to speak to Australian, UK and New Zealand admitted lawyers with 4–8 years’ PAE with experience in either energy/resources, infrastructure, and projects.

Sponsorship will be considered for suitable lawyers.
