Legal Counsel

• Broad commercial and contracts work across mining and construction.

This Australian mining services company is looking to secure a motivated and personable lawyer to join their in-house legal team. 

You will be working closely with a collaborative and down-to-earth team of lawyers. Full support and training are provided, and work with a team that encourages progression and career development.

This major Australian brand provides services and support across the mining and construction industries. Your responsibilities will include:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, equipment & personnel hire, services & supply, and JV agreements.

• Providing advice on a wide range of issues, including employment, general commercial law and dispute resolution and litigation on occasion.

• We ensure compliance and provide advice on legislative and regulatory requirements.

This role will suit lawyers with 2-5 years’ PAE, ideally with strong commercial and contract experience or lawyers with a construction, corporate or litigation (with exposure to front-end matters) background who are working with top/mid-tier firms, or within leading boutique firms.
