Commercial Litigation Lawyers

  • 2-6 years’ & 8+ years’ PAE – two newly created roles

Our client is a preeminent law firm that is looking for two high calibre Commercial Litigation Lawyers with at least 2-6 years’ PAE and 8+ years’ PAE to join their team as part of their strategic growth plans for FY26.

You will work directly with exceptional Partners from top-tier backgrounds and become an integral part of a highly successful and driven team, which has a reputation for completing some of the most complex and interesting matters for major private and ASX-listed clients within the energy, resources, mining, and infrastructure sectors.

Working with the firm’s long established and loyal client base, this role will involve providing strategic advice and representation on a variety of different disputes and litigation in the Warden’s Court and superior State & Federal Courts, including:
 

  • Major energy and mining disputes

  • Building and Construction disputes, litigation and arbitration

  • Commercial disputes, including appeals and cross-border claims

  • Contractual disputes

  • Regulatory & compliance investigations and proceedings

  • Property related litigation (retail and commercial)

  • Constitutional and administrative law litigation

  • Corporate investigations and prosecutions, including ASX and ASIC enquiries and breaches of Director’s Duties


We are interested in speaking with driven, highly switched on, pro-active and confident litigators with previous experience in complex commercial litigation in superior Courts, ideally from a national/international or specialised boutique firm. 

The successful applicant will possess strong academics (ideally at least a Distinction average or higher), exceptional technical skills and proven drafting abilities.

Our client is ideally looking for lawyers with at least 2–6 years’ PAE, as well as applications from more experienced candidates, up to and including lawyers at the Special Counsel level.
