Junior In-house Lawyer

A market-leading Australian energy company is seeking a Junior Lawyer to join their high-performing legal team. This is a rare opportunity for a junior lawyer seeking to enter the in-house space and gain broad exposure to legal and commercial operations across the business.

Joining at an exciting time of growth, with major development projects in the pipeline, you’ll work alongside an approachable and supportive General Counsel/Company Secretary and senior in-house lawyers.

The role offers a broad mix of legal work, including commercial, contracts, procurement, and IT. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the broader legal team across various business units, gaining significant exposure, and assisting with internal legal projects and stakeholder engagement.

Who we’re looking for:

• A Junior Lawyer with 2–5 years’ PAE, from a law firm or in-house legal team.

• Experience across commercial and contracts work is ideal.

• Adaptable and self-driven, with a strong interest in developing an in-house career.

• Open to working across multiple business areas and legal matters.
