Senior Associate | 5-8 years’ PAE

About the role:

Due to organic growth and a strong pipeline of incoming work, the firm is seeking to add a Senior Associate to work directly with a leading Corporate/M&A Partner from a top-tier background across a range of high-profile M&A deals, complex transactional matters, and general commercial and corporate advisory matters.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive the progression of a range of corporate matters, including unregulated M&A, shareholder agreements, JVs, and corporate restructures, as well as a range of general commercial advisory work.

• Advise on compliance under the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules, and FIRB.

• Develop strong client relationships by serving as the primary point of contact for clients.

• Work collaboratively with other teams within the firm on larger transactions.

• Manage deals end-to-end.

• Attend negotiations and meetings with high-profile clients and opposing parties.

Who we’re looking for:

• Ambitious and enthusiastic Corporate/M&A lawyers with 5-8 years’ PAE with an eye for detail who want to work with tier-1 clients in a supportive and friendly environment.

• Experience in unregulated M&A, general commercial advisory work, and regulatory advisory work (Corporations Act, ASX listing rules and FIRB).

• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability and desire to work autonomously.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and building strong client relationships.
