Experienced Personal Injury Lawyer

  • No billables – outcome-focused with annual target and bonus

  • Flexible work options, including part-time and WFH

  • Strong team culture with excellent paralegal support

A rare opportunity has become available at one of WA’s most highly respected plaintiff personal injury firms, renowned for their exceptional expertise and quality of client care, for an experienced lawyer to join their team.

KBE Legal Talent are looking to connect with ambitious lawyers with 4-7+ years’ PAE working in personal injury (plaintiff or defendant) who are ready to manage a diverse case load of high-value, complex claims with strong paralegal support in a collaborative and friendly environment.

About the role:

Working alongside a highly experienced, approachable and award-winning team, you will autonomously manage a caseload of litigated personal injury matters, including motor vehicle, medical negligence, workers’ compensation (statutory and common law) and public liability claims.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documents while managing files with strong commercial awareness.

  • Taking new client enquiries and evaluating claims thoroughly, assessing both liability and quantum of damages.

  • Taking a client-focused approach, building and maintaining strong client relationships.

  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior lawyers and helping to foster their professional growth

We would like to speak with lawyers with 4-7+ years’ PAE, who have experience working in plaintiff or defendant personal injury law matters.

You must be able to manage a diverse caseload autonomously and have experience (or a strong interest and willingness to learn) in managing complex cases, including those involving catastrophic injuries.

What's on offer:

  • Work with a leading firm that values work-life balance and professional growth

  • Top of the market salary package on offer, commensurate with experience

  • No billable hours! Rather, the role is outcome-focused with an annual fee budget instead, with additional bonus schemes

  • Flexible work arrangements – work from home options available, and the firm is open to considering part-time applicants (3 or 4 days per week)

This is a rare opportunity to join a firm that values people over billables and invests in your success.
